Checkin' it twice...

After the FCC was hit with "tens of thousands of requests", BushCo's people won't be able to fake news releases reported by fake reporters--propaganda--any longer. Oh, they can create those phony new segments, but the media have now been warned by federal regulators that they had better make sure the public knows they're a government product and just which part of government is responsible for them.

Have no idea what they'll try to run past us next. Just don't believe everything you read, see or hear.

And then there's the astounding regular folk on the streets. Astoundingly... unaware? Uneducated? Oblivious? About noon (PT) on TV is a show named, Street Smart. Two contestents in the studio try to guess whether the person encountered on the street will know the word needed to fill in a blank. Here are a couple of examples:
Q: Adam and Eve were evicted from the _______of Eden.
A: "Apple."

Q: At graduations the song, Pomp and ________is often played.
A: "Grind."

Q: Our Embassy in France is in the city named_________?
A: "Beijing."

Enough said about that!

Wrap...
