Just finished reading a novel by Robert Ludlum, written by a ghostwriter. Had to be, since Ludlum passed away about a year or so ago. Besides, this writer has a style all of his own. Really knows his history. Either that, or he's like the writer who spent 36 years researching. His editor told him they'd decided they'd have to publish after he'd died. They'd been waiting for years...while he kept on researching. And after all that, when the guy did publish, another publisher offered more money and so he left the publisher who'd been faithfully waiting to get that cash. No doubt more to the story than that, but that's the gist of it.
All media focused on the Pope's funeral, etc. Still managing to put some heat on Tom DeLay's latest problems come to light. That individual has the ethics of a barnyard dog. Come to think of it, those dogs undoubtedly use more ethics in the natural course of things than DeLay ever possessed. I doubt the dogs are corrupt. And yet a great many of his fellow Repubs continue to support him...which says more about them than him. Pathetic. They'll do well displaying themselves in Rome at the Pope's funeral. Gawd.
And so to all a good night.
Wrap..
