Quiet....

Not much going on with the writers here today. K and S have both returned from forays into red country. K went off for a week in Indiana and S simply drove 25 miles away to Santee. K may have an article about his trip published soon. S, being a delegate to the CA Dem Committee may make ripples in another way. Hard to tell.

Hard to tell too, why BushCo supporters remain supporters after all that's gone on. Very hard. Probably as many reasons as there are people. One, of course is that they consider Bush a good Christian man because he says he is. If they examined his deeds, they'd see that he's anything but.

I'd forgotten about Reagan having the solar panels removed from the roof of the White House the minute he became prez. Jimmy Carter had them installed because he recognized oil and gas supplies were going to mighty scarce in the future, and he was pushing for alternate energy sources. That came to a screeching halt with Reagan and Bush Sr. Started up again with Clinton and back to a halt with Bush Jr.

Arianna Huffington's big blog is up and running as of today. It looks great. Some very talented and expressive and well-informed writers have articles on that blog. Talk about having something to read! There's plenty there, I'm happy to report. I've just moved it up near the top of my Favorites list.

Speaking of Favorites list...mine is getting so long it takes forever to move something from the bottom to the top. Finding something takes a whole lot longer. Know I could alphabetize it, but I prefer the ones I read most frequently to be up top. Has to be a better way, but damned if I can think of one.
Wrap...
