In the case of Dr Laura...

...the talk show "psychologist", consider what this writer friend of mine emailed:

Sometimes I listen to classical music. Sometimes I listen to whatever station the radio was left on. Just now I flipped the switch and Dr. Laura was on.

She was incensed about some or other question a caller had had the nerve to call and ask. Somehow a dad had promised his kid something without consulting the mom first. Laura's answer was, "promises made that never should have been made should not be kept." According to her a promise made by one parent without consulting the other "breaks the covenant of the relationship" therefore said promise should never have been made.

My personal opinion: Dr Laura is in need of professional help...like a psychiatrist. Based on the way she answers problems and her treatment of the people who ask her opinion, she has more problems than any of her callers.

That was about as ridiculous an answer as this one from a person on the street approached by one of the Street Smart TV show people:

Question: "What former dictator was pulled out of his hole in Iraq?"
Answer: "Bill Clinton."

Then this little item that concerns two of the former contestants (the hot tempered guy and the lawyer with the long blond hair guy) on Trump's TV show, The Apprentice: Seems the hot tempered one got into a brawl in Florida and hired the blonde lawyer to defend him. Made me laugh.

Something more to think about: the Newsweek article which said that interrogators at Gitmo had flushed a Koran down the toilet. Every day something new... In any case, the article writer had run that paragraph past the Pentagon...and the Pentagon had no objection! I find that very interesting, to say the least, since the admin is now howling like banshees at Newsweek, to the point the mag has retracted the article. I doubt this will never be sorted out, since something new is liable to attract attention and the Newsweek article will fade into the background...just as the memo from Blair's report on the meeting with Bush will no doubt do...even though that one is the smoking gun that should be leading to impeachment.
Wrap.
