Kudos to the Marriott Hotel folks!!!

The following information was released to the media October 26, 2005.

MARRIOTT AND RITZ-CARLTON AIRLIFT 239 GUESTS OUT OF CANCUN, MEXICO Arrange Special Air Transport for Guests to Atlanta and Mexico City

Marriott International and its subsidiary The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company,LLC, today arranged special air transportation out of Cancun, Mexico for 239 guests who were evacuated from The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott and CasaMagnaMarriott hotels.Guests traveled yesterday and today from shelters in Cancun to MeridaInternational Airport, before boarding private charter flights this evening to Mexico City and Atlanta.

Marriott International chartered two Mexicana Airbus 320 airplanes and provided the flights at no charge to the guests.Upon landing in Mexico City and Atlanta, guests will be met by Marriott and Ritz-Carlton staff and be offered overnight accommodations.

Following mandatory evacuation orders from local authorities, guests staying at Cancun Marriott and Ritz-Carlton properties during Hurricane Wilma were evacuated to shelters located further inland. Teams of Marriott andRitz-Carlton personnel took all necessary steps to ensure that guests were as safe and comfortable as possible in these temporary shelters.

As previously announced, The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, JW Marriott Cancun Resort& Spa, and Casa Magna Marriott Cancun Resort will remain closed until December 31, 2005.
