Never thought I'd say this, but Obama has got to go in 2012. I've had it with his bending over for Repub positions. He has no guts. And is not likely to get any either.
So who would be the best candidate to take his place? At this point, he's become so cowardly that almost any Dem would do. And that's all I have to say on the matter.

What would you have him do? He's not all powerful. Pitting one party against the other doesn't help. Better to hope the dollar doesn't disintegrate
Timekeeper...I'd vote for Sen Barbara Boxer to take Obama's place in a split second. The Repugs would never be able to roll her like they roll him...time after time after...And latest? The top 2% get to keep their tax breaks for 2 more years, which means the deficit rises higher, but at least unemployment benefits continue on for a few months. Boxer would not have stood for that...and would probably have threatened to beat them to death for giving $$$ to the wealthy and taking them from the soon to be very very poor.
